Combined with a sleek, modern look, the IPX4 rated FX downflow heater comes with 30 minute runback timer to help save energy and provides an ideal heating solution for almost any bathroom, en suite or kitchen. To assist the visually handicapped, the temperature display is also color-coded. The Monterey's intelligent self-learning, delayed-start capability is known as Adaptive Start. This evaluates the thermal properties of the room and then decides how long the appliance must run to achieve the desired temperature. The heater calculates the time it needs to start heating to reach the user-defined target temperature at the set time by measuring the heat-up and cool-down rates of the room and how this fluctuates with external conditions. This reduces energy waste and can result in significant cost savings. If a window or door is accidently left open, the Monterey will detect a sudden shift in temperature and delay heating.
